Punting too mainstream and losing the buzz

is anyone else finding the excitement of punting is waning? Maybe I've been doing it too long and am now too confident but going to a hotel is no longer exciting in the sense of going past reception etc and going to Incalls no longer holds that nervous anticipation of not knowing if Sergei or winston lies in wait like it used to. For me part of the thrill of punting was the whole experience of the build up to going and that butterfly feeling in the stomach.

But punting seems such a normal hobby, I recently went on a corporate day out to a football match and the conversation turned to punting and guys were openly saying what their best punts were. Everyone of the 12 strong group punted.

Or perhaps it's that over the past decade I've seen pretty much all the best reviewed girls so my to do list is extremely small.

Just interested to know if anyone else has encountered this issue.

This is me all over although I've only been punting since early last year. 1-2-1's have lost there appeal to a certain degree although I still have a small 'to do' list. I much prefer 3somes, moresomes and parties now. I've punted on average once a week since starting and going forward I only intend to punt a couple of times a month - maybe one 1-2-1 and some kind of group session if I can get it. If I can't get what I want, I simply won't punt - the main difference as up to now I've sometimes punted out of habit. Only punted twice in October and November will be the same - I look forward to it more if I have to wait longer.

I think that's the key no matter what you're into. I think some of us are guilty of punting too much, turning punting from a thrill to a routine.

I am not yet where you are Diehard but I could get there.  The thing is, I try really hard not to care if it is mainstream or not.  Others' experiences don't affect me.  Clearly if no other guy was at it, the girls would not be there for me.  So I think the more other guys are at it, the better for me.  So more mainstream seems good, right?

Getting into a rut and losing the buzz is possible, but it is not due to being mainstream is what I am thinking.  And the solution to not getting into a rut is just refusing to get in a rut.  Go do something different - and different does not mean more crazy - it might be something more vanilla for a bit.  Or pure TPC.  Or one hundred other ideas already posted on this site I wont repeat.
