Sildenafil - long-lasting!

Bit of a long story, this, so bear with me!

The wife and I have been staying in an apartment Chester for a few days. For one reason or another we haven't had sex for weeks and I was very hopeful on Friday night that I would 'get lucky'. Sure enough, when I made advances she seemed up for it, but then she said she wasn't in the mood, leaving me with a raging hard-on and hugely frustrated. To make matters worse, I was woken up in the night by the couple in the apartment above fucking very noisily. This resulted in me lying there with a stiffy again, listening to their bed springs squeaking and the girl making sexy little noises.

These days I often try 50mg before a punt. I like to punt in the afternoons and the sildenafil is still giving me boners the next morning. I believe on average it takes something like 22 hours to be completely cleared out of your system.

I cut the 50mg in half and find it lasts about 12 hours for me  maybe not as rock hard as the first 4 or 5 hours but still more than enough .

I've recently moved from taking 50mg to 100mg, to guarantee a decent boner (I'm a more mature Punter!). Lasts all day for me and if I take it in the morning for an afternoon punt I've usually also lost the worst of the flushed face side effect which I get.

try drinking a pint of water if you can when taking the tablet, it cuts down the facial flushing by a lot (for me)

I heard somewhere that while it makes it easier to get a boner, it can reduce sensitivity and make it much harder to cum? Is there any truth in that?

I've certainly read that many times. For me, so long as I don't overdo the dose (100 mg I've concluded is too much for me) I have no problem cumming. I often back off at the beginning of a punt otherwise I would cum straight away and I get much more of a high if I spend a half hour in various positions before cumming. Then I'm sometimes hard again almost immediately. Too much though and I can bang away indefinitely without cumming. YMMV of course.

I got into the habit of taking the same cocktail when I was using 100 mg. Not sure I need them with 50 mg, but I usually take them anyway, and have a 500 ml sparkling water to hand though I don't always drink it. The ibuprofen also handy as I like a drink afterwards and it wards off hangovers.

I use the 100mg (from Dr Fox) but the side effects are worse and worse for me. Need Gaviscon for stomach acid side effects and I also find it makes my eyes scratchy and nose runny. Woth it though

I think the Gaviscon might not be awfully good for you unless you find it works well enough. Ranitidine is much better. You can get a low dose over the counter but it's worth getting the stronger dose from your doctor. It's very widely prescribed so I think you should have no trouble getting it if you tell him or her that the regular medicines aren't working (no need to mention the sildenafil unless you want to). The ranitidine is easy to carry, unlike a liquid, and a one or two or even a few just before your punt can both sort out the gastric disturbance and quite possibly pump up the effect of the sildenafil.

also try Laprazol, works for me, I use to get bad heart burn and indigestion when taken viagra even eating some food gave em heart burn.thats how i started taken it, laprazol is a proton pump inhibitor which prevents the stomach from producing acid!!

This is certainly my experience, but I happily trade the downside for the guaranteed stiffy.

This tends to happen if the dosage is too high. However, you can control things better which for me, makes the punt a better experience. If stamina's not an issue, both parties get the benefit as you can build up to a nice hard fuck when you need to.

Cialis is known as the weekender and a 20mg should last at least 48 hrs but until the patent runs out its too pricey compared with sildenafil .

Buy generics from a good Indian pharmacy and cialis is practically the price of sildenafil. Plus you can buy them in 40s and 60mg and just chop them up making even more savings and more discreet to carry.

The choice there is Viagra (never tried it), Cialis, Levitra and Spedra. Levitra Orodispersible is neat as it melts in the mouth (kind of minty too) so it's easier to take one on your way there. I haven't had any significant side effects from any of them. Cialis costs a bit but lasts longer, which is kind of a mixed blessing. I imagine it varies by individual. I've eaten a light lunch and then punted around 3 pm, taking Kamagra an hour or so before and it's been fine. (On an empty stomach I might even take it 15 minutes before - it's fast acting for me)

If you need energy can you not eat slow release carbs like an athlete would aka "carbo load" or drink a so-called energy drink?

That sounds about right (although studies say the effect of food is quite small). Go for empty stomach, give your stomach time to absorb it, then if you need some food easy-to-digest carbs sound good. Avoid fatty foods if you can as they line the stomach and reduce absorption. As pointed out, things vary a lot as your body's not a computer program.

It may depend on when you last had a meal ------------------ it stands to reason that if the pill mixes in with food it will not be so effective.

Im down to a 50mg divided into 8 parts. Still works a treat without the usual side effects. Probably shows its all in my head.

  Just thought I`d put my finding up again read on here (a fellow punter posted the latin name for this process) that letting it dissolve under tongue bypasses stomach and seems to have quicker effect..

This is now my preferred way of taking 20-50mgs seems to work even after eating taste is argh! so I usually end up eating a sweet to get rid of it works 20mins after.

I try not to drink alcohol before use stays active for 10hrs but cum shots weak after first managed 3 pops over this time before xmas in soho with approx. 30mins between rises and 2 hours between pops (it was a 5 girl walk up treat to myself and not something I would do again but cheaper at 20 quid a girl and for me more do able over a longer time frame than a rushed crowed 2hr party £160 if I was younger I can see the point but this stuff does not provide fuel for parties for me

Are you sure about that? Because it doesn't sound right to me. Seems more likely the opposite would be true, start from a small dose and work up. Seem to recall 100 mg may be the maximum recommended daily dose.

IMO it's fine for you to speak about your own experience but not for you to advise others that a first timer should try a high dose to begin with.

It would be impossible to cut a 50mg pill into 8 parts ------------- you would end up with powder.
