I give them tips before on what to wear

I give them tips during on how I want it done.

On leaving i feel they deserved the first 2 tips.

Tip = Service charge ! You already paid for service !

No never.

Although when I'm punting in Asia... I get sucked into it as it's the done thing out there if the service is good.

No, and neither should you or anyone else.  :hi:

Pro$$ies earning £100 - £200 per hour whilst paying zero tax don't need to be tipped. A return visit is the best tip they can ever get.

Never. We pay enough for the service as it is.

Maybe substitute 'enough' for 'too much' would be more appropriate.  ;)

I agree ------------- however I did used to tip one girl when I used a brothel in Essex, she was earning less than the figures you quote and an extra £10 seemed appropriate, I wouldn't tip Indies, they already earn more than a brain surgeon.  :hi:

I have on a couple of occasions.

These have been when the price has been low, say £40-50 for a half and the service has been far better than I would expect at that price. I don't think I'd tip if she was charging 80/140 as I would expect the service to be top notch.

I did give a regular a substantial tip at Christmas in lieu of a present last year.

When I first started I was chucking money about like a gypsy lottery winner but gradually began to realise that it was stupidity so by the end I had all but stopped.

You tip for good service when you have bought something like a meal and consumed it, however, with a WG all you have used is basically her service, she hasn't provided anything extra. She advertises a rate and you pay it. And please don't go around giving girls extra on top as pretty soon she will get the idea that this is what her service is worth and start charging the extra within an increase of her basic fee. If you think she is worth extra, then your repeat custom should satisfy both parties

Offline Jimmyredcab

But she can simply provide the service you have paid for ------------ or she can put in a little bit more effort.   :unknown:

I have used the same taxi garage for over 15 years and always tip the mechanic, why do I do that? ------ because they have never told me they are too busy and will often leave what they are working on to sort out my problem.  :hi:

In the same way that one would never, ever offend a WG by asking her for a discount!  :D

I've never punted abroad, but I guess if I were somewhere like Thailand where rates are a lot cheaper and life is tougher than in the UK, I might want to tip. Would probably also help the prospects of a favourable rebooking if desired.

Im amazed at the number that will consider tipping. Most wgs say their rates are none negotiable. Cuts both ways.

I would rather have the option to tip than have service charge added to my bill, that is robbery pure and simple.

The price is the price and should be clearly displayed.

Quite why you should pay more to have fillet steak served than chump steak served is beyond me.

I was in a restaurant the other week and they did that. Seeing as the service had been shit and the food wasn't great, we refused to pay it. Caused a bit of a ruck but fuck that. Service charge has to be earned IMO.

Yes, I suppose you can refuse to pay but who wants all that hassle at the end of a meal.

In my Town Center there are over a dozen restaurants and none of them charge for service, that includes a few big chains.

Offline madeinwales56

Tip a prossie who already charges around £120+ an hour tax free. No fucking way.

Offline threechilliman

A lot of girls proudly state their charge is all inclusive, so I guess they aren't expecting any extras

Exactly! I have found more and more restaurants have included "service" on the bill and assume the prossie has done the same :)

I can't be sure, because I have never actually received a receipt.

I do not try to negotiate prices down, and in return, I do not overpay her either.

In my early days I did once bring some grapes (still sealed in their packaging) but they were eyed with great suspicion and I reckon she probably chucked them when I left. The only other time, the cheeky mare actually asked me to pick her up an item of food on my way. I was green back in those early days!

Offline Madone1

I think the 100+ quid an hour that you hand them at the start of the punt is enough. I mean fuck me I wish I could earn 2 pound a minute.

Understandably we haven't heard from any of our more user friendly WGs, but my feelings are, don't tip a lowly paid waiter/waitress in a restaurant and they would be wondering how they have offended you, tip a very highly paid WG and she certainly wouldn't be expecting it, and indeed might be highly suspicious as to your ultimate intentions. To my mind tipping might come over come over as being somewhat creepy!

Sometimes I might give them a little something if I have fucked up for some reason and they have accommodated me (say a bunch of flowers if I was fifteen minutes late for a previous meet and they have given me my full time), but only for a specific incident of them going over and beyond normal good service, which, as I said, is rewarded by repeat bookings.

Too fucking right.

4 of us went for Sunday lunch in the Abbeville pub in south London, the lunches were £17.95 each but to be fair it was the dog's bollox. It was only when I looked at the bill when I got home I found that the cheeky fuckers had charged 12.5% service charge on top, total £85! I wouldn't have minded so much but I left a fiver tip!!

I used to have a set rate with a regular. Some of the extra services , she charged others for, were all included. So I guess you could call it a tip because sometimes it used to be just a BJ and she still got paid the same amount.  I have tipped when punting overseas, if exceptional service has been provided.

Isn't this exactly the point generally with tipping? In a restaurant you're buying the food and the serving of that food is included. BUT if the service was good you can tip the serving staff to recognise it.

With a taxi you're paying for the transportation and obviously the driving of the vehicle has to be included. BUT if the service was good you can tip the driver to recognise it.

With a WG, or any other instance where you're paying someone for their service then there's no justification for tipping.

And yes, they are not being paid subsistence wages either so the argument that an extra tip is necessary to keep them above the breadline doesn't apply.

I have bought gifts particularly for my regular because I feel she does give me extra in a number of ways and I don't think tipping is the way to go to show my appreciation.

For other return visits I have taken a bottle of their favourite drink as per their Interview.
I did once take a girl some teabags as she listed tea as her favourite drink  Must have made quite an impression as she remembered when I got back to her over 6 months later

The best tip for a WG is to give a good service as advertised and not try to cut your time short.

I did once take chocolates to a meet with a regular, well just to clarify it was a Cadbury Boost that we both ate after it had been shoved up her snatch followed by a lovely chocolate DFK, ahh yes I still cherish that memory  :drinks:
