Read about this in the papers, they want to close it down.

It's a place for gay men (not exclusively) to get very very very very very friendly in a small dark porn cinema.

Been there. They show porn films in 3 dimly lit rooms. Lots of guys meandering around looking for a fumble (or rather more) from other guys. A woman will turn up v v occasionally, usually as rough as hell.
If you like very seedy it's ok. Occasionally I do.
It costs £15 to get in and that covers you for entrance for a week of seediness!

Once you have paid your £15 for the week that is it. After that it is an establishment with consenting adults!
In my recent experience of their new location, on a busy afternoon there might be 15-20 guys there; women zero.
Evenings get a bit busier and because it is quite small downstairs it can feel quite claustrophobic. Whereas in their previous larger premises I could happily while away several hours watching porn and observing other goings on (!), here I find an hour or so is enough.
You have to accept that it is mainly a place for old guys to jerk off, some gays to cruise, some cross dressers etc and the occasional woman to turn up with their partner for some action. But I reckon you could easily go there 100 times and see nothing that attracts you.
It's an interesting place in its way, among the last of its kind in London and I doubt that it will last too much longer. They got forced out of their City Road, London location by the relentless forces of gentrification and though their current location is a bit dodgy, the PC brigade will get them I believe.

I have a pic of the notice put up in the window were the council have revoked the licence for the premises. It's also on the lamp post right in front of the door on the street. I saw this add and drove by it Sunday morning. Thought it looked closed so got out and had a look. If anyone has been since this Sunday just gone then I stand corrected

I think they may have some sort of hearing coming up. Leaving aside what "customers" might or might not get up to on the premises, there is a question mark I think over the videos they show - i believe they are only supposed to show softish porn.

I stopped by at this place today, having finished work rather early, took in a can of beer and settled down to some mediocre porn and some eye watering goings on!
The notice in the window is a "Review of a Premises Licence". And the grounds for the review are summarised as "prevention of crime and disorder".
I doubt they have much chance of staying open frankly, which is a shame because the place harms no one. Walking past you would have no idea what the place was.

Still operating, under appeal, which I think means they will be closing sometime in the New Year, cos the appeal ain't going to work. Who knows if they will manage to resurrect the club elsewhere; shame if they can't. Very few sordid places left like it.
I was there a few weeks ago and it was v quiet. Nice if they had a bit of a rush before they go, but I don't think the momentum is there.

You would need to define good  really.
Busy - not in my limited experience, although I tend to go on the occasional afternoon and not evenings when I guess it might be busier. But it is much more quiet in afternoons than it was in its previous location in the City Road.
Women ? If you go thinking there will be women or couples there you are likely to be disappointed. Such visits are very infrequent.
It's a niche place. A lot of rather sad old people hoping a woman/couple might show and amusing , and sometimes others, when they don't.
I used to go to the City Road venue several times a week and the place had a real buzz. Now I go maybe once a month or less.

I was really pleased when Club 487 opened, but I have to say it's been something of a disappointment. That's not its fault though - all a proprietor can do is open a half-way decent establishment; after that it's up to punters to make a success of it. I will concede that it's a bit out of the way, but I like to make the effort to go when I'm able, not least because it truly is London's last such venue. (Can you believe a global city of 16m people has ONE place where people are allowed to go to watch porn? It's pathetic....)

Anyway, I concur with much of what's been said here. I brought a naughty girl (blonde, 27, bisexual and very, very pretty) to Club 487 back in March or April. I won't share here what occurred in case some prurient fuckers are lurking with a view to gather evidence against the club, but suffice to say it was a very exciting evening for the men who were there. But I've not seen a single other lady there apart from the one I took. And that needs to change frankly - the same couples who used to attend Fantasy Cinema (and Sunset in Soho back in the day) need to make a bit of an effort. Such places are great if you're into seedy, naughty, dark fantasy zones - so let's try and ensure that they thrive!

Club 487's problem seems to have been that it wasn't quite gay enough, catering for bi and straight activities also. If it was just a gay club then I imagine it might have been more difficult to close down.
