Well I never!
I really did not expect so many members to get so emotive, self effronted and up on their high horses over a couple of light hearted tongue in cheek questions which came out of another thread concerning dining (unpaid) with a girl after a punt.
Actually the first question I posed I will now admit was not totally hypothetical as I have seen it happen.
So just for the hell of it I think I will dig myself in deeper and share with you a true story before I fall on my "stalking" sword!
It concerns dining out in Mayfair with a wealthy mate.
Now this area for those who don't know it, is full of mostly expensive restaurants where you are very likely to end up sitting on a table next to a couple or group consisting of one or more pretty young girls and usually much older "businessmen" As forum member Kowalski succinctly pointed out in another thread - why not if you can afford it?
Now I have seen this over the years in many places around the world and before you say how do you know they are WG's? Well in many cases it's not obvious but there are subtle signs and my prodar generally works very well and you just do! Therein lies the rub!
On this evening the restaurant was very quiet. The meal was good and as I had invited him to supper, I paid the bill. He then suggested we move on to a plush nearby hotel for a nightcap on him.
It was getting late but the bar was still busy. I had no idea my mate indulged in our hobby, as punting had never come up in conversation except I remembered that some time back, he once cracked a "joke" in male company about not taking your wife or partners along if you ever visit Cuba ! It was a "knudge knudge wink wink" Pythonesque joke that we all laughed over and I thought nothing more about it.
Then this happened.
We settled in at the large horseshoe bar and he ordered some champagne.
I watched my friend, like a true PU pro begin a conversation with an attractive Asian girl late 20's who was dining alone at the bar and after several minutes watched in amazement as before I knew what was happening she was literally eating out of his hand -well, being fed by him with her own chopsticks in fact! You had to see it to believe how smoothly he worked her.
Another girl, blonde, Russian looking and also eating alone was at the other end of the horseshoe bar.
It was clear she was interested in these goings on and another conversation was begun.
To cut a long story short,
a suggestion was made that we all four might move on for drinks and more, to another hotel as my friend who loves his cigars wanted a smoke too, where suitable private rooms for multiple purposes could be and were more conveniently obtained! The rest I will leave to your imagination...
But hang on you may be thinking. These girls were dressed well and eating alone in an expensive hotel and you guys had the gall to chat them up in their "off time" and then negotiate a price for services! Well actually yes!
In fact although to most hotel guests they were just very well presented single women dining alone, they were in fact WG's who turned out not to be off duty at all!
(Which begs that question - Is anyone every really off duty if the price or circumstances are right? I wonder...)
If you have finely tuned prodar I believe there are indeed subtle ways of approaching a lady in ways that need not insult her while you assess the possibilities.
Remember the original first question already presupposes that the girl is a WG, so no GB this was not aimed at accosting your innocent 22 yr old daughter dining alone !
Well I thank those members who took the original post question in the spirit it was intended.
The two ladies who kindly replied are nevertheless hardly a representative sample of the many thousands of girls currently listed on A/W and elsewhere so you have to draw your own conclusions.
The rest of you doubting Thomas's as they say can go figure.
