Ohlala - Finally, A Potentially Decent Escort App!

I was skeptical at first, but after reading the article to the end I think this may actually be one that works.

Simply put; you have a private (non-public) profile not unlike Tinder/Grindr on Ohlala.  You enter your location, preferences in service, price you're willing to pay and then send that 'reverse booking' out to WGs in your area who are also on the app.  They then choose to contact you and reveal their profile, or not.  Each escort is apparently verified by the company (potential bottle neck and weakness here, not to mention bait and switch later down the line).  The aim is to improve communication, service/expectation and cut out the middle man.

I know this sort of thing has been tried before and people prefer using sites without having an online account or profile (you could still use a punting phone and create a fake profile), but there seems to me to be room for a layer above the murky world of AW where people just want to stop faffing about and get appointments booked without spending hours trawling the internet.   

The difference with this app is it's legit.  This isn't a clandestine like Adultwork outfit operating out of HK or wherever it is based now, it's a start up in Berlin that's not ashamed about how it's going about things.  That's good.

Being as Berlin is in Germany, they wouldn't need to be ashamed, would they? All perfectly legit there.

I never seem to have a problem finding a decent girl anywhere in Germany.

Who pays so the site makes money? One of the things that puts me off dating sites are paying the large fees with no guarantee of a date. Depending on their financial model this could cost money and you don't get a punt. Not sure I like it and why should the seller get so much power. Not for me plus I can't see it taking over from aw and will probably have desperate wgs on the margins as members

Personally I'm impressed with the app and the promise of only genuine ladies.  I also like the fact that they're not going to let millions of men create profiles.  There needs to be a balance between genuine men and genuine service providers, otherwise you'll get a situation where most men are on there to piss about, waste time and perv.

It's important to remember this isn't being pitched as an escort/punter app.  It's more like a dating/seeking arrangement rendezvous enabler!  Hope they get what they need during the second round of fundraising.
