Was about to start doing my 'research' for my upcoming London trip, but no need now as I've managed to contact and hopefully get an appointment with Nicoletta!
I'd thought she was away.
If I had more time and especially money I would also like to see someone new, but as money is limited and I will be joined by mates at some point I am pretty limited.
Quite relieved really as once upon a time I enjoyed doing my 'research' i.e. spending ages and ages trawling through agency websites, then in later years AW, and now I was just about to plunge into the UKP London reviews with a vengeance, however these days I can't really be arsed - I'm getting that way about a lot of things.
Last Friday I intended to go shopping in Sheffield after a job there, something I used to do very regularly, but couldn't be arsed after battling the traffic and just came home instead. Must be getting old.
However back to the punting.
It will be my first in well over a year - the longest I've gone without since the eighties. In some ways I feel almost like a novice again. Therefore I don't really want to take a chance, especially as I've said time and money are limited, therefore I think it's better to stick to someone I know, like and feel comfortable with.
I still recall the horror in Rotherham I suffered in 2013 after being out of the game for thirteen months.
