Sorry to bump the thread. I've lurked for a while and decided to do my first punt today with Sapphire and read this thread.
I booked for 7.30pm and arrived in the town at 7.25pm a bit lost because my sat nav died...entirely my fault but I called up and told them that and they said they'd ring back in 2 mins with directions. I didn't get a reply so I tried ringing back and they hung up on me. I realise that's entirely my fault but is this the norm? Was annoyed that they didn't answer my call since I'm obviously not a time waster and would have arrived before 7.30pm had they just told me to turn around. When I got home I realised I was at the wrong end of the long street heh.
some of you guys have no common sense
The agency always gives me the full address and post code, if your sat nav went dead, you can only be blamed for that, which you accept, but when you have the full address, and still don't manage to find address, god help you. I managed to find it no bother, if I ever get stuck, agency always happy to guide me in IF they can figure out where I am. You sure you didn't have reception problems??
After reading this review, beggars belief that you managed to balls the booking up yourself. Agency wouldn't have blanked you, after all, they would lose out too. Just seems weird with this being your first ever punt and first ever post on this particular thread
