There is a tube (Northern Line) and on my recent visits I never found the trains even slightly fucked up. But apart from that you're right on the nail

I think the quality we have is poor. On any given day the numbers "available today" in Croydon and Wandsworth in particular, will out number any borough other than central London. The problem is they are generally straight from the gutter.

Re transport links we now have that overground bollocks and an Asian mate tells me they'll be looking to get a tube line in through Thornton Heath for anyone who's got property that way...... but yeah, it is a flipping nightmare from Kennington to Sutton

It's really dire. Thinking back, I'm pretty sure the only punt I've ever had south of the river was in Kingston. I did have to take the train to it, which is always much worse than the tube, so I guess it makes sense.

I moved out of South London at the start of this year and before that I thought the same as you. However, I've since realised that this is not the case when compared to where I am now. I returned to London this weekend and was amazed at the volume of w/g's I was looking at and trying to decide who to punt with. I spent 3-4 evenings researching my options whereas it only takes an hour or 2 where I live.

Plus, you only have to make a short trip into central London for tons of pussy. Down my neck of the woods you have to travel 30+ miles to see the next batch of w/g's in other towns.
