I got the text too; went to the clinic on Saturday and got the all clear.  I know for sure at least 2 other punters also got the message, and at least 4 WGs.  Not sure about the punters but ALL the WGs I know about were tested today, and at least two have -ve results.

There's no point speculating about 'patient zero'; the world we operate in, in London particularly if we choose to see highly-regarded women, is pretty small.  It really could be anyone.  Speaking entirely personally I was pretty angry on Friday about someone somewhere doing something that put me at risk, but given the circumstances I'd far, far rather be alerted and get tested than not.

The dean street clinic provides results within 2 or 3 hours, I don't know how but they do. Marvelous place.

This is simply not true.  Today I've seen screen grabs of texts that the GUM clinic sent 2 WGS, both from the same clinic and both stating clearly that both were -ve for gonorrhea and chlamydia, as well as some other nasties.

56DS can turn round tests very quickly.  It's entirely possible as I went to a private clinic on Saturday to get tested for both g and c; they turned the test round in about 4 hours.  I was -ve for both too
