Gum Clinic Condom's effect on punt?

I am starting this topic to see what others opinions are on this. I have mine but I am not sure if its unique, so am curious what others opinions are on this.

But how would you feel if you turned up for a punt and found that the WG only had the elcheapo free condoms that the Gum Clinics give out as the ones for the punt and not decent premium brands?

Would this be considered just something everyone knows WGs do. Or would this be considered effectively a mick take?

To be honest a few people on the forum have posted in the past - what I thought were at the time jokes on this subject (i.e James) - that almost all WGs just use those free rubbish ones from the Gum Clinic. But I remember then the obligatory bunch of female members would come along using this as a means to (it seems looking back now) possibly tout and say "I'd never do that, I have a selection of brands and types at my disposal for every punt and most WGs do" and thus I thought it was the case due to those responses by WGs on the forum that for all working girls it would be the same on that too, that at the very least the condom's they were using were premium quality.

But I am starting to realize this is not the case and most/many girls just use those Gum Clinic ones. To be also honest I am now starting to think this may be the exact reason why I have had such problems remaining aroused in bookings and needing viagra for punting to achieve sex as these condoms are literally pleasure killers and could quite likely be the reason all along.

So like I say if you turned up, and it was the free cheap and nasty ones how would you feel about this? And do people think it should be the case that WGs stop using the free condoms and buy premium?

Couldn't care less as long as they work, and I doubt the clinic would give out defective condoms.

The post is not about defective or not. Its a case of in terms for the sensation you will get during sex, you may as well just put this on as it'll feel the same.

Can't say I have ever inspected the selection of condoms on the bedside table, perhaps I should take more notice.

What brand names will I recognise as being cheap ones from GUM clinic? I'm sure there are threads on favourite condoms, but while I am here will ask which are considered

The problem also is, many WGs refuse to allow you to bring your own condoms incase you have tampered with them. And if they do let you, its a case of they want you to bring a sealed box and open it right infront of them.

The problem for that is, you will use either one or two condoms in that punt. That means you are wasting the rest in the box as the box will be opened and the next girl will refuse to use them in the subsequent punt incase you have tampered with them.

So you cannot win.

Never come across ex's before, most of the girls in brum even the romanians use durex as that is what you get from the planning clinic/gum centers  so unless they buy cheapos i cant be sure

Won't the WG allow you to bring a condom singular? How can you tamper with a condom in a sealed wrapper?! I mean there's being cautious, but asking you to bring a sealed box is ridiculous and verges on paranoia.

Never heard of this brand before!

According to Saafe its a small pin prick through it in the hope you get the girl pregnant or something

My clinic gave me 6 Pasante Naturelle + 1 Pasante Sensiva non latex condom + some Pasante light lube when I went for my usual 3 month test today.

Never heard of this brand before!

I have never heard of them either. And they don't even make the list of any recommended condom lists on the web. Never mind coming near top place which is what I'd want when paying £100 per hour for simply fun.

Agree, its a silly non argument. But girls flat out refuse to allow it when you ask them if is possible - both in advance, and just generally in bookings themselves

I remember when I first started punting and (strangly thinking back) thought it was the punters responsibility to buy them I bought a box of condoms and brought them to the punt.

I used two and had something like 9 left. I asked the girl to keep them and allow us to use them for my next punt. I came back about two months later and asked to use them and she said she used them all with others.

I just happened to notice the brand during a great session earlier this week :-) usually i don't even look as it doesn't bother me.

And yet not one of their brands of condoms makes any of the 10 separate recommended lists I could see.

Googling for them being mentioned on discussion forums is comments universally of cheap and nasty. Here is a good comment I found on one from a girl that is pretty telling.

As someone said above, there isn't a difference in terms of safety, but even as a woman, I found durex condoms to be much more comfortable. The pasante ones felt really horrid for me... the fact I actually noticed the condom in a bad way (i.e. not because it was dotted or ribbed or anything) isn't a good sign. However, that's just my opinion, others may disagree.

Why would any guy want to get a prossie pregnant?!  I understand that maybe a small minority of guys who punt may want to try to sneak getting bareback, but putting a hole in a condom to get a prossie pregnant - that is ludicrous.

As long as the condom hasnt a whole in it that I can see I couldn't care less what brand it is. In reality WGs will use whatever brand they choose to, posting on here certainly wont change that for most of them. Personally I am more concerned WGs have the right size condom which is why I always have my own with me, and its either mine in that scenario or I walk. In my experience its not been a problem usually anyway.

But the problem is, by this time, I am guessing, that the issue is raised by the WG of using your own it is after payment has been made. So its a case of if you walk, you lose the money.

Well I bought 12 skyns from Amazon came in a plastic bag in a jiffy bag each individual sealed then in a big plastic sealed bag

Was hoping it would come boxed but I did ask the wg I am seeing if she would like to get them or for me to buy

Several years back I had a few girls tell me there is wako punters out there that go around pin pricking condoms wether its to pass on disease, or another sinister thing who knows more like a punishment for someone who wants to punish the workers I would say.

I remember one girl saying to me she caught a punter when she went to the toilet going through her bed side table trying to damage the condoms that were kept in there, she said she kicked off and threw him out and warned other girls and made sure she did not keep her condoms in her room anymore.

So I can see why girls would not want to take a condom off a punter unless they know them well.

I have heard of pasante there sold by all the uk condom sites and clinics would not give them out if they were crap and would split.

I have used them before never had a problem its like anything you always have well known brands that are a bit dearer and cheaper.

Pasante are a very well known brand.  The extra safe are awful though and  the GUM near me tends to give these out or Durex extra safe as they get them cheap.  I know quite a few prossies who prefer Pasante to most other brands (Apart from skyns as they are by far the best to use but often not the best fit unfortunately)
Pasante do some very good ones though and there sensiva and their Halo are absolutely lovely to use and I have never had one of either break or split or roll off.  The Halo come up a little bigger than other normal size ones so are great for guys too big for the normal but a little too small for the extra large to fit properly
Given the choice between Durex and Pasante, Pasante would win hands down every time (unless it was the extra safe which on both brands are far too thick).

Does anyone know if Gum clinics only offer one specific brand of condoms depending on which one you go to.

Or if I went in and specifically said. Do you have any Durex, or even better do you offer any Mates. They'd be able to provide those. Or will it be a case of "we only offer pasante here" or "we only offer EXS here" and we don't offer Durex or Matex.
