Author Topic: Being offered a drink  (Read 3683 times)

When I am asked for a drink I only ever ask for water and I hardly ever finish the drink either. It's not because I think they will spike me (although it is easier to spot in water than other drinks) I just think asking for anything else is presumptuous. Also, I am there to fuck not have a natter over drinks!

What a load of cobblers.

Some people should give up punting and take up knitting.

Aloe Vera Juice, hmm Khloe

There you go.  She just came back too - must book myself in for more aloe vera...

I normally have a drink after my first pop if I am there for a hour.

Offline Siadwel

Most indies in their own places I've visited have offered me a drink on arrival. I always accept water, but the one I've been seeing regularly doesn't even ask anymore. She just makes a pot of coffee while I'm showering.

Offline Trevor12

If offered, I'll usually either decline, or just ask for water to sip on in between activities.

Not paying a WG to make me a drink.

I'm quite capable of getting a drink myself before arrival or after I've left. Not interested in drinking if I've paid for her time.

Can be a time wasting tactic.

Do you just get stuck in then?
I dont mind taking a drink think its more kindness than timewastimg tactics not all prossies are like that (I hope)

Obviously I would like to avoid sweeping generalisations, however, if the clock starts the moment you walk through the door, it's in the WGs interest to keep you out of her puss for as long as possible. Otherwise if she's a busy girl...

Obviously I don 't give a fuck about whether I get a drink or not, but in my considerable experience, almost without exception, the girls who offer you a drink are better than the ones who don't.
Don't know why this is. Maybe they're just more professional?  :unknown:

Personally I don't mind whether an escort offers me a drink or not.

I always take a bottle of drink unless I've punted with the lady before

Exactly this ^
In Amsterdam a regular always gives me a small can of beer after our session's   :drinks:

That's a nice touch. Made me laugh though as of she did that for every guy that sees her a few times she might need 5 fridges

I agree with that. It's a nice touch and shows she might offer a good service.
Saw a girl today who has plenty of bottles of water around the rooms which I think is a nice touch and no time gets wasted

I usually take a cheap bottle of wine (most supermarkets will have a half decent bottle usually costing £6-£8 on offer for less than £5), especially if it's the first time I've met the girl. I think it relaxes her into thinking you're a decent bloke and it makes the  punt a better experience because of it. 9 times out of 10 she'll open that bottle and share with you so it serves a dual purpose.

Yes I accept a drink.  Seems a hospitable gesture and I'm usually thirsty, even having drunk water on the way.

I do rather feel this thread is verging on a lot of bollocks. If you have enough sense to go punting you should be able to decide whether to accept a drink or not.

I used to get offered a glass of wine more often than now. Becky Carlyle actually poured me a rather decent wine and it was only a half hour booking. A lot of fluffpots will give prossies wine or chocolates that they don't want, or at least not in that quantity, and it's more than decent to recycle some to the less grovelling punters I think.

A glass of water at least takes the taste of cunt away.

A cup of tea is nice afterwards if it's on her time.

For an outcall, I normally let her choose a drink, preferably shorts and mixer in a smallish glass unless I have wine open. She's welcome to reasonable tipples, as is any guest, but not as a time-wasting accessory.

Always go properly hydrated. Sometimes I accept, somtimes I don't. Tbh, drinks are the last thing on my mind on a punt!

Reading through your reviews I can see why that would be the case.  :D

I'll grab a cold drink if it's offered upon arrival, but I haven't got time to wait 4 minutes for a kettle to boil - that's just a pro$$ie tactic for running the clock down.

I'm not sure why taking a drink would make someone a fluffy. As I said, I think I get a better time because the girl seems to relax more and thus I get a better punt because of it. The thread started with someone asking a question which, hopefully the poster has gained some insight on the back of the replies given. Or should we all be miserable b@stards........

It's not necessarily derogatory and some people may feel that a fiver on wine is not much extra to pay for a booking to encourage 'goodwill.' I did it myself many years ago until discussions with several prossies I was friends with (rather than punting with) who said it was a nice gesture but didn't really make a difference to the service. If someone was clean, smiling, polite and reasonably pleasant, didn't muck them about or act awkward then that was more likely to make it a good punt.

Think of it this way: most of them, if they drink wine, can afford good wine, not the cheap shit that a punter is likely to bring. Most of them don't drink on the job. I'm not saying it isn't appreciated but so is a half-eaten packet of Rolos you left behind if they fancy one after work.

Offline cueball

The op was more concerned with security issues about accepting a drink during a punt.
