Pam shelved her parties at the end of last November for a few reasons.
I personally think she was getting tired as it was a fair hike from where she lives to Crystal Palace. But the reason she gave for putting them on hold was that she need to join her family in one of their business ventures in the period leading up to Christmas.
She held the New Year party and was going to start up again in the new year but unfortunately due to the buoyant property market in London the owners of the venue house decided to sell it and not renew the lease.
This has happened before to Pam on 2 occasions and also happened to Limelight/ LSAP, LAPC and even LMP now Phoenix.
Finding houses or flats where you can hold parties long term is not easy.
Having exchanged correspondence with someone who knows Pam even better than I do, I understand she has a few things to sort out and would like to start again if she can find a suitable venue. I have no idea of timescales.
I miss Pam's but fortunately there are still other reasonably priced alternatives such as -Rebecca's LSP's, LSAP, Lady P's parties at Sutton and as mentioned above LAPC.
This week I have been to LSAP and LAPC. I am working on a review of the LAPC party as it was at a new venue and I had a cracking time.
Regards to all party goers,
