Okay 'all' was being a bit of an exaggeration...obviously I couldn't know if they all did.

In answer to your question, no it was an English girl that I ended up seeing for a while. I was quite fascinated by the whole thing and she used to mess around and tell me stuff. Like the little things she did to be safe.

And yes, she did see what I looked like. And as I had my real name (with last name), she did find me on FB, Instagram, etc. But I started seeing her so it didn't bother me.

It ended on good terms, so no harm done to anyone.

I'd say quite the opposite in 'my personal' opinion. I'd say the EE girls are much more likely to not give a flying **** who they see, as they tend to do 1 in, 1 out 24 hrs a day (I'm exaggerating again BTW...but you get my drift).

However even for us single guys there's a big difference between using a personal phone and a work phone. If your work phone links to your company a malicious WG could still out you to your company. Punting may not be illegal but I suspect many companies might take a dim view of it. Could be career limiting.

The mistake (if you want to call it that) was I have one phone, and use my real picture face on WhatsApp, as until I heard the story, had no reason whatsoever to do differently.

It was only after I was told what I was, that I though 'fuck'. Although to be completely honest, I actually don't mind. I'm not overly paranoid and although some people have PM'd me telling me I should get a "punt" phone, I'm not overly stressed.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but out of all of the girls I've seen (from any agency or AW), I've only had one that was a bit off with me.

Above is true, but it also depends on what whatsapp security features you have enabled on your phone. Even on your punting phone, you can select for only your contacts to be able to see any pics that your profile shows. So if you ring someone, provided you have not stored their number, they will not always be able to see your photo. Alternatively if you ring a WG who is stored on your mobile and she also has whatsapp installed on her phone, then she will be able to see your picture and/or any name you have put on your profile.

As for watsapp. They can only see my picture if I have it on MY watsapp. When the WG comes to get my number she will get my picture but not my real name. As she will only have the name I've given her, which she can update on her phone with my picture.
