Stick with the natural way. It is much safer as all gastric ops carry a high risk especially with a high BMI. Aim for a small amount each week and don't worry if you have a bad week just get back on the horse. I was 23 stone and managed to get down to thirteen and a half in under a year. It was hard work as walking fast (slow walking us no good) used to make me out of breath.  Change your dinner plate to a side plate so that when it is filled it looks a lot but is much less than a dinner plate. It sounds daft but your mind sees a full plate so you feel you have eaten a normal sized meal. Never miss a proper breakfast and make sure it fills you up. Yoghurt and fruit are good for this

One other thing when you have lost weight be prepared for a lot of loose skin. I had to have a full tummy tuck and they removed over six pounds of skin.  It's expensive and not available on the NHS. Good luck
