Do you celebrate your Punting anniversary?

On the 15th of Feb it will be my 1st Punting anniversary. One whole year of fucking fit and not so fit WGs. I look back and what have I learnt? Have a punting phone,walk if you don't like the look or feel of a situation,don't fall in love with WGs.

I actually won't be in the country to celebrate but it got me thinking if you guys remember the first time and if you raise a glass to that WG. My first was External Link/Members Only

Your first punt isn't the sort of thing you're likely to forget.  I haven't punted in Shepherd's Market for a couple of years now, but I am tempted to revisit the site of my first punt at some point for nostalgic reasons (first doorway on the left as you walk through from the north).

My first punt happened abroad on 22nd January 2009 with an ebony escort named Mary-Jane. It was also the day I lost my virginity, so that is something I will never forget!!!!!!

My first punt was blah, about 20 years ago, no idea what time of year it was let alone the month. Utterly unmemorable.

My "reboot" back into punting was ok but nothing special.  It's got much better since though.

The pinnacle of my first year back to punting was my 12 lays of Christmas so I think I have just found a new meaning for Christmas. That will always put a smile on my face over the festive season now so I think I'll make that my punt-versary.

It's so long ago I can't remember. About 30 years ago now in my late teens. Best thing to do is treat every day like my anniversary

My first punt was only ten years ago at one of Natasha's Parties, good fun, but can't remember the month let alone the year, and even if I could, I can't think of any reason to celebrate it, I'm with akauya on this one.

On a serious note I remember my first punt was on new years day, i think 22 years ago, I was high on Coke (which I don't do anymore) and just of to a party and thought why not, she was out the local paper, incall £40 for 40 mins I believe, it was awful, so would rather forget than celebrate.

Like many others my first punt was over twenty years ago, not particularly memorable and never entered my mind to celebrate it! In those days punting really was blind: an ad from the back of the local rag. You had no idea what she would look like till she opened the door. Much more to celebrate nowadays with the advent of AW and then UKP ensuring a much more reliable standard of punt.

Approaching my 1st anniversary, which is the 1st March. I hadn't even thought about marking the occasion as I've made most of my plans for Feb and March anyway without giving the 1st a moments thought. As its a Sunday this year it won't be a punting day for me though I might just pause for thought at around 4pm as that will be exactly 12 months since she bent over, I pushed her skirt up, pulled her knickers down and stuck my tongue up her arse. Nice!!

Haven't reached my first anniversary yet and my first WG has retired. At the time  thought she was amazing, but experience has shown her to be just OK and too expensive, although I did see her again before anybody else. I do look back fondly though.

As far as celebrating goes, I pop my cork on every punt!! If I were to celebrate anything it would be my regular; just booked my ninth visit, and hoping like fuck she doesn't retire as she has told me a promotion at work may see her travel more, have less time and earn more money, so less opportunity and inclination to carry on as a WG. I booked 2 hours, so if its my last visit I'm going to have a party with her!!

My punting anniversary is like my birthday now, too many years on both, I think it was summer I started but I'm not even sure about that now, it were dark though
