Author Topic: The changing age thing again  (Read 6307 times)

Fatpro$$ie

I dont see why women do this.  If you want repeat clients why lie?  They will never come back if you are obviously older than your stated age.  It would be better if some put no age at all, that way a guy can see if he likes her by her pictures and not her lies.

No matter what your age as long as you dont lie and give a great service you will get repeat business.

I think alot of it is they want to come up in all searches and find sticking to under 35 they come up more often and dont give a fig for repeat customers

I used to worry about my age ie being in my 30s, meaning I'd be overlooked in searches.  I do know however that I'm doing ok in the looks stakes, and could get away with taking 5 years off. I prefer to exceed expectation, "Under promise and over deliver" is my motto and can't see the point in having a guy arrive expecting someone different. That's no good, wastes everyone's time and it isn't going to get me repeat visits either.

And as for lying about your age, you should take great comfort in the fact that you're just about to turn only 24!!

When you're approaching the big 30 and if you're still doing this (which I hope you're not) come back to me and we'll resume this little chat again about profiles and age!! I think you'll find that if you hit 30, you tend to get excluded from certain searches, hence why there are a lot of 28 and 29 years olds about!  :D

Why would you hope not? What a strange thing to say...

That's what I've found. The problem is when you're looking for someone in their thirties, you're not going to find them. Half the women listed as 30+ are actually 40+, and the problem continues  :( .

I've seen a lot in their 30s, they're not so difficult to find I think late 30s often equals 40s. I don't look based on a specific age, as long as they are under 50.

I would hope that anybody so young would not wish to stay in prostitution their whole life and make it some kind of career choice for the long term?!

I don't find it a strange thing to say at all. I've no idea how old you really are, but if you're telling me that deep down, you're content to be doing this for the next 10 to 20 years, I don't believe you. I know it's your choice, but I've spoken to dozens of escorts. There's always a reason, beyond the financial, so don't pretend you're any different from the rest of the human race, when you're not.

Most pro$$ies will tell you they only plan to do it for a few years, the reality is they have no other way of earning money, if they had the skills and atributes to secure and hold down a well paid job they would have done so as opposed to turning to prostitution.

Yes, it's true James that girls will often feed you exactly the same line, thinking that you haven't heard that one before! I've have had that on occasion and it always brings a smile to my face!

That said, I do think there are some girls who genuinely would like to get out, eventually. The problem is always the money and despite what many will say, it's a very easy way of earning what is essentially, tax free income.

I like how some people purport to know all about the inner-workings of the minds and motives of women in the sex industry

Some turn to prostitution because they have no other choice, financially or addiction-wise. James loves to drive this point home - this is perhaps due to his insecurities. Who knows.

Some choose it for the flexible hours and good pay but have a career plan or study elsewhere and do leave as and when planned. Think of foreign girls who work for 2 years and then retire, taking the money home or setting up in the UK. Or part-time students who actually do leave once they get a job in their field. Some retire to marry or couple up (sometimes they live happily ever after, sometimes not)

Yes, Some get sidelined by the money and get trapped somewhat.

What shows you up as not having much real insight, only conjecture, is when you say it's a very easy way of earning money. On occasion it is, but mainly it is NOT easy. Maybe for the male mind it would be, but it isn't for the majority of females (even prossies).

Why? well how about having to deal intimately with at times smelly people? at times you will encounter someone who's personality or looks repulses you but you must remain professional and be intimate with them nonetheless? you face stigma from the general public and most prossies have to lie to friends and family and hate it? You are very unlikely to have a successful relationship whilst involved, and even if you manage it there will be problems associated to be overcome? You may have big gaps in your CV if you hadn't thought it through properly and you can't exactly write 'escort'? You must have a will of steel and be totally secure in yourself. Of course at times it's a great job - good to meet interesting people is one good attribute, but there are huge downsides which most men don't realise when they make the proclamation of "easy money".

EXACTLY, and that's why girls only do it as a last resort, if they had an alternative way of earning (i.e. if they could secure and keep a decent job) they would do it, Girls don't go through school and the career interviews aspiring to sleep with dirty old men for money, it's when they find they have no other option.

Not always no. Sometimes, yes. For your own reasons (whatever they are, I could speculate but that would probably be discriminatory) I think you just like to focus on the negative reasons, and not the other ones I posted above.

Point is you don't have to do that to earn your living. It's not in your job description (presumably!). If you don't like the risk of 'having' to sleep with smelly WGs with smoke-filled breath then perhaps find someone to have sex with for free who is a hygienic non-smoker? And if the WG hates it that much she can find another job. I was just saying it's not as "easy money" as some (with no experience themselves) make out.

Only 1  :dash: today. Feeling tired?

Not always no. Sometimes, yes.

But you clearly despise having to work as a Pro$$ie to derive your income, and as such if you had a skill / alternative you would take it, why pretend it is a "Choice" when there is no alternative, it's like the amputee saying he made a choice to have his legs cut off  :dash:

As for negativity, it was your words describing the "vile men" who you have to be intimate with, I simply agreed with you.

So if you win the Lottery you'd still "choose" to be a pro$$ie and suck dirty old men off for £50 (or whatever rtate), I'd gues sno as because you would not then have to do it, as you would then have a choice, but at present there is no choice.

I "clearly" despise it do I?  Where? My posts, except from the one where I highlighted the bad points (every job has bad points and also good points too), have all been about prostitution/whoring IN GENERAL. Yes, some prostitutes have no other alternative - this is what you are stuck on and gloat on. I already have another job, therefore yes an alternative. But the prostitution is good for extra money and interesting conversations outwith normal social mores, yes. Perhaps you just don't like to believe that some have alternatives - you as always just focus on the negative to the point of obsession.

You seem to think in a strange black-and-white way, which leaves me wondering if you have some kind of spectrum disordered thinking.

If that last post was directed at me, I don't purport to know anything for certain. I'm only stating my own view, based in large part, from speaking with other escorts on and off for over 3 years. And that's on a face to face basis, not via some forum.

I accept there are other views. Why do you come across as so self defensive? I wasn't having a pop at you. I think that you're a little bit presumptuous yourself concerning a man's mindset. Maybe there are some men who would take that view. I do not.

I never said that girls do not leave prostitution for good. I'm sure that many do and go on to other things. And are, deep down, mentally happier for it. I've simply noticed that it tends to be when things go wrong in those very same examples you site, such as new relationship, new job and so on, the very same British girls invariably come back. And I stress British. I do think some of your other examples are exceptional, such as some foreign and genuine students. It's only my experience through such conversations girls stating that 'they're back' from 'retirement. I do take your general point, however and agree with the gist.

As for my 'easy money' comment, I'll clarify this, as it's clearly wound you up. I didn't mean it's easy for an escort in any emotional sense or with a horrible client at all.  I simply meant that for relatively little training or skill, you can charge a very large amount of money, tax free, by the hour. There is no other job where you could earn that much, by the hour, for so little training, skill or experience. Now that is an undeniable FACT. I'm sure that even you can admit that, even if you provide some caveats. That it's possible for a girl to do this, matters to me not one jot because I only book and pay what I think a girl and the service she delivers is worth and what I can afford. If she can charge £500 an hour like some girls do in London successfully, then good luck to her! If I man wants to pay this, that's up to him.

I do not underestimate at all that it can be very difficult for girls like you and yes, I've heard the stories about smelly punters who haven't seen the shower for a good amount of time and very dangerous experiences.

I've noticed that you hark on a lot in other posts, stressing this is all about personal choice. Ergo, you can choose whether you see that same smelly or horrible client, can't you? If a client comes to you in a disgusting state, you can choose to quite rightly kick him out of the door and ask for some money for wasting your time. Who would disagree with you on that? You can also stipulate as part of your profile (not sure where you advertise?) that a client must shower first, at your place, prior to any physical contact taking place. A shower is but 5 minutes and I know escorts that that do this. As you say, it's all about choice.

Fatpro$$ie

It is easy money though, compared with being a nurse, policeman, soldier or fireman who earn a lot less.

Ok we have to put up with the odd smelly person (I just point them at the shower so it solves that problem). My screening works well so that I rarely have a cient who is rude or abusive unlike nurses at A&E on a weekend who get no choice.  They have people being violent, puking on them, and being aggressive
Most of us could not in any way earn the amount of money we do for the amount of hours we put in.  I know in my previous profession I could never earn what I do now and the work was a lot harder with so much more stress and I still had to deal with smelly people (I was a midwife) with smelly genitals and their angry partners who felt that they were not getting the attention they deserved so became aggressive.

Selling sex is so easy compared with all of that

It wasn't actually directed so much at you, more at James.

Sorry if you find me presumptuous. I don't claim to know what goes on in the minds of anyone. Like everyone else, I can only speculate. It does get a little annoying though for anyone when their labour(getting all political now  :sarcastic:) / job is constantly described as "easy work" or "not a real job". Physical and/or Mental time in exchange for money outwith your own recreation time = a job. Sorry if you believe I over-reacted though x

I think that there is a difference between prostitution as a regular gig and prostitution as a very occasional job. Escorts in my area on AW are split into 3 'genres' (when you take out the endless annoying PG scams) - 1) regular prossies - working most days or at least one day a week 2) those who make a profile, try it out, quickly decide it's not for them and then never log back on again and 3) 'occasional' prossies who pop back up when a big bill is due maybe once or twice a year. I don't think it's as simple as they work - they retire - they come back (or don't). It's more fluid than that.

I'd say to your points in your 4th paragraph - yes it can be QUICK money (high hourly rate, not much initial outlay or training, can be tax free but that would be inadvisable for many reasons), but it's not EASY money in the emotional or social or societal sense. It can screw up someone not suited or strong enough in their own mind.

As for the points about hygiene or unpleasant customers - Smelly genitals are not usually perceptible until well into the "action" - then what do you do? shriek and recoil in horror and force the customer into the shower mid-session? I'd only do that if it was really bad/unbearable . I'd find it rude to force every client into the shower before service if he looked clean at first, not to mention getting off on the wrong start! I would if they were visibly dirty from walking through the door though. Smelly people do not happen often, however it is a memory which sticks   :D As for unpleasant customers, sometimes this too is not apparent until mid-booking and is awkward with such people to try and broach the subject, even if you have security in place. You can't exactly turn round and say "I find you a pompous arrogant cold racist git - please leave" .This is rare too but hard going mentally (no James, I don't hate all my customers, most are fine and lovely). Think of it as the same reasons a lot of punters stay and don't walk away even though the girl turns out to be smelly or really offhand and cold towards them.
