So yesterday i had a wierd one,
i had my punting phone on yesterday morning, while i was browsing AW to see who was available.
Imagine my surprise when it started to ring.... so i answered to find out it was a girl i had seen about 6 months before, for one time only, she was okay but no great shakes, she called to tell me she has changed her number and is not on AW anymore.
So i just said okay and hung up.

So how out of order is it for her to call me?


How fucking dusty is her phone getting if she needs to cal out to punters?
Also i saw her once six months ago and she kept my number in her phone for all that time, i mean she must get 100 calls a week, so 450 a month, so 2700 in the six months since i called her, so was she ringing everyone on her call log memory?

Made me thankful i am single and use a throw away phone, if my circumstances were different she could have caused a whole world of shit for me.

IMO its totally out of order unless you had agreed it was ok for her to ring you. Obviously otherwise a WG has no idea who you might be with. I imagine she was simply going through her call log and contacting everyone.

Its is Rule number 2 to never contact a punter unless he has asked or agreed for you to. (Rule 1.. Keep your mouth shut or discretion as its politely called)

There is never an excuse to call you.  Some thing it is ok as AW bookings say to call the punter (I don't).  even on the day of the booking there is no excuse to call even if you have to cancel a booking you don't call you send a text.  Most phones beep once or twice for a text but a call keeps ringing and can get a punter caught out..

If changing her number she can either use redirect calls on her old phone to direct them to her new number or leave a voicemail on the old number giving you the new one. 
Saying that she shouldn't even know your number as it should have been deleted after the booking unless you gave her permission to keep it

your missing the point entirely. and by trying to be flippant your not seeing why this is a really dumb thing for her to do.

she phoned me, she had no idea what kind of phone i used, she kept my number 6 months after i saw her.
so she changed her number and came off adult work. if i had not used a punting phone she could have caused and still be causing a whole world of shit for me. i had a punting phone so i was okay. what about the other blokes she called? did they?
my point was i cant report her or out her here because shes not now on adultwork and has changed her number.

I don't see the harm in a WG keeping your phone number as long as she does not ring it or text it.

I have always assumed that they would have some form of code system next to your number that reminds them that you are reliable clean etc or a fantasist time waster.

Don't have an issue with that.

Like others my punting phone is off except when I need it for arranging a punt.

No escorts should be contacting punters after 6 months, usually its made clear if you can contact a punter on how friendly you both are and what conversations you have with each other.

I find that some W/G save my (punting) number and when I call them, they call me by my given punting name.

I've never had one call me unless I call them first (missed call or answer phone) and they returned the call or text me back (with in a few hours normally)

I have had text's from W/G but only to state their back in the country working. But only if I've asked them to!

That's a bit of a shit get out clause in my opinion. Whether or not a punter uses a punting phone is not their assumption to make.

Wrong numbers are rare on cell-phones because of the stored numbers, but there is no reason why someone can't enter a wrong number.

No this was a genuine mistake, because by a fluke, she had put my number right at the top of the saved numbers.

So choose a nickname that puts you down the botton of the alpabet.

Mind you I did phase her out a while later.

Punting phone either switched off or on silent unless arranging or en route to a punt.

I've had three contact me over the last few years.

First one I'd already text about a booking and said I'd be in touch later that day - she was obviously trying to drum up a little trade by calling me first though. Now no longer working in the UK thankfully.

Second one I got on well with and we socialised outside of work so that was fine in my book - Liza aka naughtycocklover (Banbury). We had a falling out over money (fluffy moment - don't ask) but straightened things out, she's not presently working.

Final one was Mrs Morgan - she'd been off ill for a long while and it was just a text saying "guess who's back!?" A perfectly worded message as its easily explained away to anyone prying. I was over about three hours later to help celebrate her return  Unfortunately Mrs Morgan has permenantly retired now. A genuine loss to us all

I would have no problem receiving emails to my AW account from wgs I had seen, in fact I would welcome them if there was a special offer. 

Whilst it would not actually cause me any problems to receive an unsolicited text or call to my punting phone, (it is only switched on when I am alone and on a punt hunt), it is unacceptably indiscreet & I would tell her to delete my number & never contact me again.
