Sorry to be pedantic but Shepherd Market is in Mayfair.

The one time I took a trip there it must have been a quiet day since the girl asked for £60 but then dropped to £20 to try to get me to stay (I didn't).

thats common,they work the soho walk ups too so are used to the £20 starting price point...

What I have seen so far is that if the price is originally £60 and then suddenly she drops it £20 there is a very good chance you will get a very bad service. They could a do a lot things such as single position  only, no no no no no no everywhere ...

As they are working from walks up premises the prossies do not need to maintain a good service to make the punter keep coming back  as they could move anytime they want to. The owner of the premises do ...
So when I meet this scenarios, my approach is to leave straight away, no further negotiation …..

took a walk around today, to see which of the walk up's are still open. but only found two flats 50a and 30 were open. has 36 and 52 flats closed down. i don't know about flat 19 that door always closed. do you have to ring the Bell to get in this one. or as that stop working as well.

Used to punt round there a fair bit - if the doorway was open then the flat was operational - never had to ring on a bell for admittance.
