Easy as riding a bike

I've been cycling a lot the past year, what used to be just  a way to commute has turned into something of a hobby and my fitness has increased whilst also saving money.

I'm thinking of visting a local girl and chaining the bike up somewhere safe or either leaving it round the back or in the hallway of whoevers house I'm visiting. 

In some respects it seems safer - the car wouldn't be spotted, no reg taken down by nosy neighbours and it not getting damaged are a few reasons I can think of (fairly remote I know)

It's also a good way to leave the house for a couple of hours when going on a longer leisurely cycle.

I wondered whether anyone here cycles when going to local punt?
