I agree.

I'm a LUFC fan (born and bred) but now live in Midlands.  Regularly watch Leamington FC (why??) but for £11 (senior) you see a good competitive skilful game (probably another loss!).  Were in National League North last season. You can sit in the stand (same price), chat to opposition fans and have a pint at half time.  You can also stand anywhere round the ground and watch the action up close.
What's not to like?

Club also operates a free park and ride scheme so no problem in getting to or from the ground.

I can’t shake my Villa addiction (or affliction) but I rarely watch any other football anymore either live or on TV. I don’t remember the last time I watched MOTD and although I have Sky Sports, it’s only for the cricket. If Sky lost the rights to show home international cricket then I’d drop Sky Sports.

With each passing season I feel more disconnected from the game and quite honestly one of these years I won’t renew my season ticket. Going down the Villa is more of a social thing these days, I go with my brother and a couple of friends, the football is just the backdrop to a few beers and a catch up with special people.

I have lost interest in premier league football completely.
Too much money and cheating, and the irritating thing is the pundits don’t call out the cheating. Players not respecting referees, why do refs walk backwards when players are in their face?
What’s this “he’s won a free kick” free kicks are not won, they are awarded for foul play.

For me all the passion has gone out of top level football, can't celebrate a goal until VAR has checked every last detail, a defender can't let a winger know they're there for fear of VAR, sterile grounds, supporters being milked for every last penny

Never been less interested in football as it is now

Yeah, completely lost any intrest in higher level football outside of International stuff.

Club stuff at anything above amateur can fuck off.

Not politically correct but women's club football can also fuck off

Don't really mind women's international football. Quite happy for that to continue for a while

I grew up 100yds from one of the best amateur grounds in the country (with a 13,000 capacity - all standing of course) and seeing them win the cup twice at Wembley nearly 50 years apart

So yes there is another world away from the over paid prima donnas of the premiership,  their greedy owners and corporate boxes - you should all give it a try
