You mean August. It finished Leeds 1 - 0 Nottingham Forest.

They also play tonight.  :hi:

It is a case of sheer fixture coincidence, as Leeds United and Nottingham Forest have been pitted against each other in two completely different competitions back-to-back.The first meeting was a scheduled Premier League fixture.

Shortly after that schedule was set, the random draw for the Carabao Cup (EFL Cup) took place and paired them up again. The details behind this double-header include:The Premier League Opener: The sides played their first match of the Premier League season on Saturday, 22 August. Leeds United walked away with a 1-0 win at the City Ground thanks to a late free-kick from Anton Stach.
The Carabao Cup Draw: Premier League clubs that are not participating in European competitions enter the Carabao Cup in the second round. When the draw was made in mid-August, Leeds and Nottingham Forest were drawn together.Same Venue: Because Forest were drawn as the home team for the cup match, both games are uniquely being played at the City Ground within just a few days of each other.

In the article it says the sex worker he solicited online was an undercover cop for sex trafficking.

This happened in Ohio but has anything like that happened in the UK?

I'm thinking less about adultwork and more viva street.

Edit: Looks like it's illegal to procure prostitutes in Ohio

Here's one for you Webbie, looks like your owner has been jailed in the States for soliciting for prostitution

He / the company also own Rangers and the San Francisco 69'ers 49'ers

Seriously though he appears to have responded to an advert placed by the police, FFS thanks christ they don't do that kind of shit in this country, surely it's entrapment or something  :unknown:

Well apart from owning a couple of British footy clubs  :unknown:

If it wasn't for his ownership of these 2 British football clubs then I doubt it would have made the UK news at all, I mean who the fuck is he  :unknown:

The 69ers

These documents say he arranged to have sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $140 (£103).
In a plea deal, the original charge was reduced to disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools - thought to refer to the phone used to reply to the advert.

A burner being a criminal tool ?
Entrapment indeed
There's always a risk in the US of stings amongst various other risks not so prevalent here
When in the US i limited activities to R&T gaffs much cheaper less risky & not a ball ache to arrange like with indies

$140 & he's a billionaire tight or what
You would have thought he'd have someone on his payroll more savvy to arrange for him
He was caught on his way to the meet so didn't even get the tanks emptied

York was sentenced to one day in jail on each offence, to be served concurrently, and was given credit for time already served.
On 500 reviews & counting @ILO would have a long holiday under the same laws  :scare:
We needn't worry the law is different here & even if it wasn't we wouldn't get banged up as there aren't enough prison spaces
The Govt would need to build a prison just for UKPers
An open prison i wonder if outcalls permissible ? :D

WTF is he doing heading to a trailer trash park ?
Clueless

Wish him luck dealing with his wife
I can see a very expensive divorce on its way the lawyers will be lining up

Prostitution is illegal in that well-known land of hypocrisy the USA. I believe the gentleman in question owns a US football or baseball  team and is a multimillionaire.

Didn't hear any
The Forest fans weren't vocal unless i missed something
Wished they'd gave it a go
& the travelling YRA could respond with "he fingered your mum he fingered your mum, Jimmy ....."  :D

It's Illegal in many States - Nevada and Maine are the two (partial) exceptions. Nevada has licensed brothels in some rural areas, while Maine has gone with the Nordic Model, selling sex is decriminalised, but buying it gets you up to 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine..

In the UK it would be regarded as entrapment and so invalid as evidence
