Its not what your spending that necessarily makes punting an addiction though. A London punter could punt in a Soho Walk-Up for under £30 a punt but being so every day so although its only cost him £210 a week he could be addicted. What's the big deal with fucking "prostitutes"? Private prostitutes and escorts are not illegal in the UK, so it's purely a vice like booze or smoking or gambling that you either do or not. You pay your money you take your choice. 

If you are 25 I assume you are not yet married in which case there is nothing to feel guilty about although obviously if you are struggling to pull together cash for a punt that can be difficult.

I am in my early 20s as well and without wanting to sound conceited I am apparently a handsome guy. The problem is I also happen to be very timid verging on the awkward especially when it comes to meeting new women. I had my first punt in August last year, just two punts in that month. By the time Christmas came I had had 68 punts coming to  total of £4470. Do I regret it? No. It's been an eye opener and an extremely enjoyable journey. I'm aiming for one a week max instead this year instead of one a day like I was doing in December.
