Hotels lift access without keycard

The Marriott in Leeds has been suggested by a friend with benefits but I don't know if it needs a keycard to use the lifts.  Has anyone been there recently?

I suspect this forum has very comprehensive knowledge about which hotels are visitor friendly. Also parking fees for out of town hotels are problematic for people needing to be discreet so info on that is useful.   Here are my notes to get started...

Leeds

• Double Tree - Walk past the front of the reception desk to get to the lift, the hotel has a bar/restaurant and conference rooms on upper floors so it's normal for public to walk in off the street and go up in the lift.
• Park Plaza - Not used it myself but I know it is used by some ladies.
• Village Headingley - Not used it myself but presume it is visitor friendly because I know some ladies use this hotel.
• Village South (J28 M62) - Not used it myself but presume it is visitor friendly because I know some ladies use this hotel.

Harrogate

• Crowne Plaza - Lifts at the back left of a large open plan reception/lounge area.  It's a very large space with lounge/bar/coffee so you'll not be noticed  as you walk through.
• Crown Hotel - Lifts and stairs are down a corridor, turn left just before the reception desk.  The hotel has busy bar/lounge area so staff won't notice people passing the desk.

York

• Delta Marriott - Lift and stairs just inside front door away from the reception desk.  Charges for parking but I got free parking when checking in.  Otherwise visitors need to use an app to pay for parking.

Had no problems in the past at the following hotels…

Novotel Leeds & Cosmopolitan (now called Hotel Indigo so don’t know if it’s changed)

Great Victoria & Midland in Bradford. (Bradford hotel when/if the illegals leave).

Ibis Shipley & Mercure Cottingley.

Cedar court Huddersfield.

Marriott does need a key card
Lifts can be accessed walking past reception, or directly from rear of Italian restaurant that is part if the building on Boar Lane

Leonardo in Leeds City Centre doesn't need a card, I've met a few ladies there
