Punting weekend including a good spa hotel

Hey all,

I've got a couple of nights away from the family, so thinking about treating myself.  I'm looking for a hotel with a nice spa for one night, a good restaurant, and a couple of punts (either outcall or incall).  I'm normally London-based, but looking for a trip away (and probably a bit cheaper than staying round here).

Any recommendations for a good spa hotel (budget up to £300) or area (with a nice selection of British WGs)?  I'll be driving down, but not looking for anything too far away - max 150 miles away.

The Grand in Brighton is nice. Decent spa, and should be plenty of choices for WG's down there depending on requirements. I struggled to find an extreme pse down there, so took a London reg along instead. But for gfe etc I'd imagine it's fine.

Plenty of SPs in Milton Keynes - seems to be a current hotspot.  Try Whittlebury Hall (meets your requirements) near Silverstone and about 10+ miles from MK. Not far from Northampton either

For £300 you could have a choice of a few decent hotels in London, the Leonardo by Tower Bridge looks good value in August and has spa/swimming pool restaurant. Im sure there will be others (Marriott at Marble Arch)
If you post a reverse booking for an outcall you will have lots of British WGs bidding.

If it really has to be outside London, as the OP says, Brighton is a good bet, or maybe the Lowry in Manchester, again, you will have a big choice of WG's for outcalls there.

Cheshire companions are a decent agency there and if you post a RB you will get a lot of interest in Manchester
