Eventually, like any product or service, a reputation for poor build quality or bad service catches up.
I suspect that when initial lure of age / beauty / novelty / something new, wears thin, discerning clients will no doubt take their custom elsewhere. Then it becomes an uphill struggle for that brand / product to claw itself back to a good point. I see her strategy of having contempt for customers, as having a short shelf life.
Maybe she has a focussed short term plan, and isn't too bothered.
But plans often get derailed, and past actions often come back to bite one in the arse, as the saying goes.
