Has anyone tried it?

It literally makes searching for anyone a pain which is the point... it's supposed to connect SW to punters and the new AW site is doing this terribly.

The search is buried within menus

To search by rates you now have to tap tap, select the tie and then search rates

The saved searches hasn't transferred over which is a big pain as they made it a lot more trouble to search

There is NO CUSTOM postcode! I want to select 2 miles and it just has a drop down! Before you could select your own range. This is a deal breaker for travel which we all do


I haven't started exploring more as it's so unusable but I'm worried they are going to get rid of the old design in favor of this and we all will be forced to switch to it.
In terms of design, what were they thinking? it should be the easiest way to search with the least number of clicks.

Are you referring to the app/mobile site?

I only browse AW on a PC (desktop site) and nothing has changed. It's still pretty easy to search with all the variables you need.

As is often the case, the first way turns out to be the best.

Simple answer is don't use it, use the desktop version, the option is there. It's been discussed before so it's not new.

BTW links from the mobile / beta AW sites don't work with the indexing system on here so it's a waste of time posting them, it just creates more work for the mods.

when i try to get onto the classic site im often met with a pop up advert for the new site which i then cant close or do anything with. the only  progression is to click the back button and try to log in/ do something before the pop up appears.

This is for desktop and i'm sure they are going to retire the old site (top right, says USE NEW SITE)
then the desktop reverts to External Link/Members Only

I'm hopeful he AW team read this forum.

i haven't sen a feedback form and i'm going to guess they will force everyone to use the new interface (adultwork beta) so we'll all be stuck unless we speak up

the beta sites (sometimes there's just one, sometimes two) have been around for about four years and have been discussed here many times.
Not much we can do about it other than give AW the negative feedback it needs
