According to today’s Times, Aryna Sabalenka, the women’s world No. 1, is begging Wimbledon to lift a ban on players’ dogs because the ban is causing separation anxiety in her Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Ash.

“Ash,” she says, “is just like a little fluffy thing that always wants cuddles and love.”

Come on, Aryna!  Man up a bit! 

Even Novak Djokovic never asked for special dispensation for a little fluffy thing that just wanted cuddles and love – and he is to all intents and purposes a vegan!
