Care to explain what you mean by that comment? As a moderator I have to read posts and comments, then decide if they need merging with an already running thread or just deleted, I can only do that by asking exactly what the subject is.

I think it's obvious you're pissed, you are now talking about the 2026/27 football season which not only has a thread of it's own but has nothing to do with whatever world cup this thread is about.

I don't think you're pissed it was someone else's suggestion that you'd been drinking but the way you were posting gave a strong indication.

The fact still remains you started a thread titled 'CN we win the world cup', as a moderator I ask you if you mean a different world cup to the one there's already a long thread about but instead of answering so I could have merged it you tell me not to read it.

Now it's too late to merge it because there's too many replies without quotes that have nothing to do with any world cup.

All you had to do is answer a very simple valid question.

Nothing wrong with starting another thread on a subject that already has one with several pages of discussion, apart from the fact it's totally pointless and results in post reports suggesting we merge them, which we do, if it's clear the subjects are the same. If it isn't clear we ask, normally members just answer, they don't go off on a tangent making the thread even more pointless.

Have to say what is even more pointless is posting about the upcoming domestic football season on the same thread.
