Very easy to get to from Birmingham New Street station - a short walk. Good transport links. Area looked safe in the early evening when I visited. Near to some shops so there were some people coming and going - discreet enough.

Yes, it's a lot of money to effectively pay someone to eat dinner with you but I was finding the p&d experience a bit shallow and hollow.
