Article from Devon Live today, refers to a property on The Terrace, Torquay.

"A brothel operating from a residential street in Torquay has been shut down by police.

Officers from Torquay Police's Neighbourhood Support Team attended the property on The Terrace following complaints by residents.

The force said three people, a man and two women, were arrested on suspicion of keeping a brothel for the purposes of prostitution.

The man has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Police said of the two women arrested, one has been referred to Immigration authorities and has since been deported.

The second woman was released with no further action.

Officers have thanked the public who came forward with information, emphasising the important role the community plays in helping to keep neighbourhoods safe."

Interesting stuff. Makes you wonder how some of the regular locations around the area escape scrutiny.

I seem to remember a reply to a VS text saying that it was on The Terrace. Didn't follow up but I think it was Asian girls.

The place in Paignton that was closed down last year and reopened was closed under suspicion of people trafficking. Wonder if they're targeting COCGs and leaving the Roms and Brazilians alone.
