So who was it aimed at? 

It wasn't actually aimed at anyone in particular but was a general comment that he's already done 3 reviews in 11 days while some long standing established members (and plenty of lurkers) rarely actually review

The real point was that we should be welcoming this guy who could become a valuable contributing member rather than piling on him and driving him away like used to happen in the old days

There are some valid points made like needing to make sure you are properly hydrated and Doc with his medical knowledge makes some good points but as so often happens once someone is criticised others then queue up to join in hence the use of "pile on" that I used 

Oh I will say that whoever calling him a toe rag seemed a bit out of order IMO

Na, it's no sweat peeps. I don't feel unwelcome and I'm not sensitive, I'll post what I want to, inline with the rules. I do appreciate the concern and advice. I have a macabre and self-deprecating sense of humour which I understand doesn't come across that well in spaces with people who don't . I'll reign it in a little bit when I post I haven't been called a toe-rag since I was 9, I prefer dirty dog which I'm called on a regular basis but, I suppose we all are, to be fair

That’s me, I was responding to the quoted post, where he implied he was happy to behave recklessly, drop dead and let others clear up the mess he leaves behind, toe-rag doesn’t seem too harsh to me, even if it was just juvenile bravado.

I would have thought the emoji he used at the end of his post would have indicated he was just joking / posting shit 

Anyway no point getting into a pissing contest and he's not bothered about what's posted about him so all's good
