Spied the Gumtree ad a few days back and today spied the same number on a new Vivastreet ad External Link/Members Only so cruised by for a walk-in.

Per the thread in regional discussion it's the old Joyful Stone building but has had some significant work done with a new room downstairs (only saw a closed door) where the reception was, and the old double room upstairs is now only one room with a shower and sink installed - clearly Mr Chan's speculating to accumulate.

Yup, £50 for an hour and £50 on top for extras

Just spotted the price in the Gumtree ad is indeed £45 - should have argued that one on entry

TBH even with a call ahead these places are always a lottery cos what's good for gooesey ain't always good for gander 
I enjoy the pot luck element a bit.

I asked (unlike me!) her name and how long she'd been there / was staying, and she's doing 2 weeks so it seems under the new management this is going to be a rota gig. Good news for me as I passing Stratford fairly regular so new fun times ahead
