As far as I'm aware, other than a very rare tourer trying to make some cash whilst travelling there is nobody that advertises, obviously there may be some local knowledge but I doubt it will be shared.

Actually advertised you won't really find anyone between Dumbarton on the outskirts of Glasgow and Inverness.

If you are visiting by train stop off in Glasgow on the way there and back.

Your chances in a rural village of 5.7k people are probably non-existent.
