National treasure. That life on Earth series from the 1970's was so ground breaking at the time and I've enjoyed all his series since.

Truly a giant.
There would not have been Monty Python without him.
Congratulations Sir.

Indeed should have been set in Stone for posterity..

It's only a couple of hundred yards from the site of the new Eden Project
Would be incredibly fitting if it could be permanently recreated as part of that

In my ideal dream world he would be Prime Minister.

In my ideal dream world he would be Prime Minister.

I would not want him to do any other job then what he does now.
He is the voice for the animals who have no voice.

If the animals from planet earth could speak they would be saying "thank you" to Sir David for his service to them.

He has done the best work for the animals around our globe.
No one can take his place in what he has achieved.
Truly remarkable.  :hi:

I am of the generation that grew up with Armand & Michaela Dennis, Jaques Cousteau and David Attenborough; when the BBC took seriously its mission to educate and these programs were broadcast at peak times early evening.

I still remember so many iconic Attenborough moments -  standing choking with the rising ammonia from a pile of bat poo in a cave still stands out.
