This is the "Escort" who i believe the number is linked to. His number is  07533208975 and his name is Kosov. Accusing me of contacting his escortand have to pay him and his boys 600. If i don't pay him he is coming to me and my family and will have to pay him 10 times the asking price. If i call the police his boys are going to make me disappear. Blah, Blah, Blah. Bring it on little bully man. There is no way he knows me or my family. nor where i live.

These type of txts are more common than you might think - just block and move on and relax.

They are speculative at best - if one idiot pays out of 50 they send these texts too its still a win for them. Dont encourage this behaviour by falling for it.

If it was a text you can report it and it will automatically get investigated.

To report a scam text, forward the message to 7726 (which spells SPAM) for free.

This works across most mobile providers to trigger investigations and block the sender.

The advert has gone now from Burton. He only sent the one text.

I had an actual call from some Eastern European sounding guy telling me I wasted the time of his girl and I needed to pay him compensation otherwise him and his boys would come round to my house.
I called him out and said fine I’m waiting for you and he immediately hung up.
I can link it to a message I sent to a EE ad on vivastreet I’d replied to a couple of days before but not got a response.
I think is the same group.
An ad pops up from time to time with new ads and it’s generally the same MO. Previously I’ve had texts and WhatsApp threats but the call was a now one. When I’m really bored I play along, Agree to pay and get them to send me their bank details. Track the sort code back to their bank and report the scam to them. At best it gets their account and assets frozen, at worst they have the hassle of setting up a new account.
