External Link/Members OnlyThere are no reviews on here for massages in March apart from Pam, and I was in the town today so thought I would suss out what massage opportunities there are around the high street. Found the Thai Spa, Ann's Thai massage and a massage place above a hairdressers. The Thai Spa looked the most promising, entrance down an alleyway to behind and up above a shop so very discreet. So far, so good.
Went in and asked if walk in was ok. A Thai girl was doing a woman's nails and asked me to wait a couple of minutes. She then phoned the masseuse who said she would be five mins. Then a middle-aged Thai with some kind of scar on her face turned up and took me to the room. Two proper massage tables in there, nice and warm and decorated nicely. Told to undress and lie down. I stripped off and lay naked on the table she had indicated. When she came back in she straight away put a towel over me and made a comment about maybe not wanting oil on my undies. I got the impression she had not expected to find me totally naked and uncovered.
She proceeded to put warm oil on my back which she had partly exposed. I said I had a pulled muscle in my left thigh - which was true. She flipped me over, kept me covered and went to work on my leg. After about five minutes there was a knock on the door and a younger Thai lady came in, dressed very casually. The older lady left. I thought it strange, perhaps she thought I might want extras and maybe the younger one was up for it? Turns out the younger girl was a bit late so the older one just got me started.
Unfortunately all that ensued was a covered by towel authentic and very, very good massage. I tried a few tactics to suggest I might be interested in extras but did not dare ask outright. So if you want a proper massage, this is a good place for that but not for anything more. Might try Ann's next time, though suspect that might get the same result. Ditto the hairdressers. .
Cost was £55 for one hour
I'm making this a Neutral because there were no extras but the massage itself was very good. Perhaps parlours in small towns like this are not open to offering extras in case word gets out.
Does it count as TOFTT if nothing exciting happens other than a massage?
