Whatever did happen on the plane was a quick-thinking clever little bit of PR for herself.

The last part about getting him up to her flat is likely shite, but was probably hoping to get a punt out of him. Why would she do him for free when he's her typical punter? She'd have made far more than her hourly fee and whatever she got for this story, had she been able to. But I imagine that was the point where he saw the danger signs, made his excuses and left, even if things did get that far.
