Alert ⚠️ Guy trying to get clients numbers

Manchester. Had a message from a man with a WhatsApp business account asking for screenshots of clients phone numbers. He's texting escorts saying he'll pay money for clients phone numbers and details to promote a 'sex show'. Has been reported on CE. Could be blackmail/ extortion. If you recieve a random message from a man offering 'sex shows' block immediately.

I hate scammers and this one particularly got my back up due to the audacity of it. I definitely think he's out to blackmail, and think he's an older man too (sex shops??). Sex shows are illegal in the UK so he's outright lying. Escorts are constantly being targeted by scammers but this is the first time I've ever had a message like this. Plus its from a business number and scammers always use WhatsApp business numbers. Stay safe xx

Did you report the text as spam in whatsapp ? May not stop them getting a new number but could stop them on this business account
