Trouble with new AW page

I normally access AW using my phone browser and always use the desktop site.

But when I went for a browse yesterday, there was no option for escorts, and the site said to use the new site for escorts. It took me to a beta which looked more like the mobile version. However, no matter what I did/do I get the message "We are sorry. The search you have entered has returned no results."

However I haven't actually set any parameters, although when I first clicked it had USA, but I've clicked all filters... But still nothing. Any had the same issue, or can help?

Did yours default to USA at all? I'm wondering if that's the issue.... I'm not technical enough to work it out unfortunately

You can change the country to UK once you're on the site.

If it defaults to US, are you using a VPN that pretends you are in US ?

I use a vpn set to switzerland and when viewing AW the pictures are still blurred out. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to get around this please

I think the only way to fully view AW profiles and all images completely unblurred is to have an SS account with them.

I just simply log in each time with no profile viewing/image restrictions.

If the software has defaulted to USA or if you are using a USA VPN you won't see any escort listings. USA federal law treats websites like AW as promoting / aiding prostitution, so AW chopped the escort profiles from the USA site several years ago.

You need to get back to the UK site (try clearing browser history and cookies), get rid of any VPN, then log into an age verified UK account. Otherwise you're wasting your time

I have a question hope it is ok to ask, just to settle a suspiciont - is it possible for a punter to have a service seeking account without being age verified?

In other words be able to log in, send AW emails without the account being age verified?

Just sent you a message from a new unverified account.
In fact I just used an existing Google account to log into AW so no checks by AW at all
AW itself shows the account wasn't age verified, but accepted the mail

Thank you this is really useful, quite a few SPs thought some punters were just not reading (sorry even before verification it was not uncommon for punters to not read) profiles. There is a whole tranche of punters who do not realise they are not seeing all the details, explanations SPs are typing onto their profiles. It's making a lot of leg work for both. I ask most enquirers who mention AW 'Are you age verified, AW restrict full profile views to those who are age verified only'.

Also may be worth knowing members profile details and feedback cannot be accessed by an SP if using the 'new email management' system on the new version. Or at least I cannot find a way to view it, have to flick into the old site mode which is a little fiddly and another 'extra' step.

I would guess AW will say it's up to the provider to check the age of a punter, also the age of consent for paying for sex is 16 (but it is illegal to pay someone who is under the age of 18, although I think reasonable belief can be used as a defence if the person being paid is 16 or 17).

As I understand it the Online Safety Act is about actual content accessed,  but perhaps it is time AW considered what happens if their site allows a 13 year old to contact an SP. However the actual etiquette of service seekers having to make the first move, may be a safety net. It's coming from them, rather than the SP.
