Spotted something new (to me at least) on Kommons.

Each advert now has a trustworthiness panel.

Kommons say they are monitoring to create a trustworthiness score:

The trust score is automatically calculated based on multiple factors that we continuously verify.

Identity verification
Photo verification
Profile age
Last verification date
Profile edit frequency
Ad quality
Report history
Location consistency

Let's see how well that works.

Online yesbby

seems helpful to me

Their search options are a bit of a nightmare. The number of times I've had a late reply from a WG and can't remember where I found her - location and even nationality - leads to strange questions like 'where are you located?' that irritate some of the girls and get you off on the wrong foot

Offline DastardlyDick

The only one I can see a minor issue with is the location consistency - it could lower the rating of a tourer to what some would consider an unacceptable level.

Not seen Kommons before. It seems pretty thin compared to AW. Are there any pros and cons to it?

It won't. Kommons is 90% Brazilian girls often belonging to trafficking gangs management agencies who fly them in for a few months then rotate them....even with this scheme there's a B&S risk
Only thing Kommons has got going for it is that because there's no feedback/review system on the Kommons platform then there's much less incentive for profiles to be traded so the B&S risk may be less

Plenty of pro's  :D

Offline signy

Probably won't be great, but at least someone is trying. Or trying to look like they are trying.

Offline mr.bluesky

A pity Viva street don't introduce the same scheme  :unknown:

I feel it is full of Brasilians (whether that is a good thing or bad thing is up to you). Many fake photos or real photos with sort of AI edited face etc so need to becareful.

Kommons seems to be positioning themselves as a full-blown alternative to AW. Have had a makeover to look more polished

In any market, sellers make claims that buyers need to assess for trustworthiness. In unregulated markets, such as sex work, this can be particularly challenging. While published metrics can help, they are also relatively easy to game.

The only truly robust process is independent review.

To that extent, UKP is the Trustpilot of sex work.

Many fake photos

Yes, the site looks pretty glamorous, but many fake profiles with copied images, in my experience.

Funnily enough that's not far off how Vice magazine described UKP, as "The TripAdvisor of Sex Workers"
