I don't know if there has been a change of ownership, policy, it was something about me, it was a bad day, or something else but my experience earlier this month was nothing like those described previously and elsewhere. After the event I read that they had been raided by the Home Office in October 2025 and issued with a Civil Penalty Notice which may explain it.
The masseuse was a fairly tall, attractive, early middle aged Thai lady dressed in black trousers and a black crew neck t-shirt. She said her name was Jenny and that she co-owned the shop with her cousin. She was fairly chatty, her English is very good having been here a number of years, but quite cool and stand offish. She was the only one working, she said all of the other masseuses were Thai, they have no Chinese masseuses.
The room was warm and comfortable. I was covered the whole time with a towel with only the area being worked on uncovered. The massage was very good but zero hints of anything else being on offer. I just about got the full 30 minutes (£30). By the time I left she still hadn't managed a smile.
I'm not often in the area but if I do find myself that way again won't be paying a return visit.

Thanks for your review

Your review your score, but i why a red?

All i can see is that you had a legit massage, where you describe the lady as being an attractive middle aged Thai lady whom had good English and was fairly chatty, you state that the room was warm and comfortable and the massage was good

I can only assume that you gave this a red as you were not offered extras, if this is the case were extras mentioned in comms by either party, same goes on entry, were extras discussed and then in the room, did you enquire at any point?

You state that this place had received a civil penalty notice though you have not stated what this was for

CPN's are quite common these days and are often used as a way of addressing issues in a non criminal way, with Landlords whom fail to meet their obligations towards their tenants and properties and employers whom are or have allowed people to work for them whom do not have the right to work in the UK, however the fines can be quite large

Without seeing the details i would imagine that this shop, like many others have been allowing a girl or girls to work whom do not have the right to do so

Some councils also insist on businesses like massage shops to apply for and have a Premises licence before they can trade so if this is the case here, then the shop may have been pulled doing extras

Either way, thanks for the review
