Don't normally have my backup phone turned on, but did earlier and a call came through.
Basically a guy said he was calling about the thing, then when I asked what thing he said I had booked an escort and no showed (I hadn't, but irrelevant), and now I needed to pay £800 to make up for it. Just laughed hung up and blocked.
Then noticed texts in the spam/blocked to the same effect saying to pay X amount or he would turn up with his security team and get 3 grand out of me. Bit random like, Aberdeen has been slim pickings lately so can only guess at who I enquired with who might be related to this call.
Anyway, phone and text guy called himself Kail, sounded maybe Turkish in accent from the way he said mate. Just so random as the first time ever had a message like that - not even remotely worried but thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone else had similar shenanigans?
