Happy St Davids day to our members in Wales. 



Wales celebrates St David’s Day (Dydd Gŵyl Dewi) on March 1st to honour their patron saint, Saint David, who died on this day in 589 AD. It is a national day of celebration for Welsh culture, heritage, and identity, marked by wearing leeks or daffodils, parades, and eating traditional foods.

The only saint celebrated who was actually born in that country (Wales). St George, St Andrew and St Patrick were all foreign.

Rugby union is considered a national passion in Wales, deeply embedded in the Welsh culture.
