Just completed 4 days in Kuala Lumpur staying in the Bukit Bintang area, in downtown KL.
As mentioned before my apartment was excellent and really close to the main area for bars and restaurants. It’s fair to say, Kuala Lumpur’s nightlife scene is growing, particularly along this bar and pub street Changkat Bukit Bintang.

First of all, all my successes in the four days came from contacts made entirely on dating apps, as these apps really do work for me in SE Asia, esp Tinder and TF.
Day 1 – had been chatting to a 32yr old Filipino on TF. Met up with her in a bar on the above street and joined her and 4 female mates to participate in the Quiz nite that was on. They wanted someone with good general knowledge to join their team but got me!
Long and short of it, I paid for drinks for the evening for just my girl and then we left the others and went back to my apartment for a horny session for an hour or so. She was a freelancer so wanted 500 ringgits/£80 for the pleasure.
By the way we came 4th out of 16 teams in the quiz!
Day 2- another girl came to my apartment to give me a massage. 22 yr old African girl from Tinder this time, came and gave me an erotic massage but no happy ending. I knew this in advance but was attracted by her. During the massage she stripped to her knickers and vest top. 200 ringgits/£35 for a 90 min massage that was actually very good. I might see her again when I come back to KL later as she was real nice and I am sure there is more to come!
Later that evening I had a spontaneous 1 hour date over a drink with a 50 yr old Norwegian lady who lives full time in KL. This was also from Tinder and purely social. She was chatty but no spark so didn’t push it. Nice company for an hour tho.
Day 3 – another Tinder date. A 47 yr old Thai lady, who I met in the afternoon, and we went for a nice meal together at a restaurant near my hotel. She also wanted a 500 ringgit/£80 donation to cover the 2 hours we had in bed after the meal haha
Day 4 – went for a massage at the spa in a local hotel. Totally legit, an hour for 128 ringgits/£20, she beat the living daylights out of my body, one of the firmest massages I have ever had. Almost too much at certain times, I did feel good afterwards!
For me dating apps work to get something more like a date rather than a pump and dump.
I must have matched with over 30 ladies in total on the apps, all available to meet and wanting anything from 250 ringgits/£44 to 800 ringgits/£140 for sex.
So, plenty of choice but one thing I noticed, over 50% of the matches were African girls. A few Thai’s and Filipino’s but not many Malays at all.
Back to this famous KL street.
Changkat Bukit Bintang has two sections. One half is a huge tree lined street packed with 30 – 40 pubs, restaurants and bars. If you pick a bar and sit there long enough people watching at evening, inevitably a girl will come and sit with you randomly and make you a proposition. I had several ranging from 500 ringgits to 1000 ringgits for sex. I declined all as already had made arrangements. Also on one corner, up to 10 or 15 girls congregate each evening and proposition anyone passing.
The other half of the street is wall to wall massage parlours, and its quite scary as the girls outside the shops have very aggressive and upfront selling techniques which put me off to be honest, so no idea what costs or whether there were extras available.
I am returning to KL in mid-March and this time I am going to deviate by going down the spontaneous ‘pump and dump’ route. Gonna also try Genesis, which I have heard good things about and also maybe try one of the more attractive girls that makes me a proposition over a beer!
