Nottingham traffic - A52 roadworks diversion

Hi everyone,

As some of you may be aware there have been lengthy roadworks on the A52 in Nottingham between the QMC and priory roundabouts with the main diversions being along university boulevard.

I may be visiting a SP that stays in one of the main hotels in Chilwell but would be travelling from near the QMC and back.

I just wondered has anyone travelled along university boulevard in both directions recently and how bad is the traffic please?  I would be going around lunchtime so not during rush hour.

as long as you are coming from dunkirk side, you should be ok...maybe allow a little extra, but if not rush hour you should be fine... pot holes are your main worry...

Why don't you just Waze it tomorrow (at the exact time you'll be travelling in future) and see what is says?

The touring SP I was hoping to see hasn’t come back to Nottingham just yet although I’m hoping she will be doing this month.

I don't really understand this thread given we have Waze and she's in the Netherlands.

She’s just been on holiday so I wonder if that’s why it says she’s accessing from the Netherlands.

She’s based over here and I saw her in Nottingham about 12 months ago.  If you look at her reviews on here they’re in the UK.

She’s said will be coming back I’m just not sure when yet and if it’s after May hopefully the roadworks should be done by then and the traffic won’t be an issue anyway.

I think I left feedback on AW but completely forgot to review on here apologies and it’s too late now I think.  Needless to say I had a great time hence I want to see her again and if I do I’ll make sure to leave a review.
