it says he spent £80,000 on sex workers in 4 months.

Terrible impact on the people she stole from, one didn't have enough money left in her estate to pay for the funeral. Very sad.

"Fanny".. there were....other issues.  That said, spending on fanny and the pursuit of, can be as addictive and Crack, Cocaine, Alcohol or Gambling, and destroy lives.

He had people’s Power of Attorney forms as a Lawyer. His clients had dementia and some in nursing homes. He scammed them.

Terrible abuse of his position. Something went wrong in his dopamine satisfaction brain loops.
His family was torn apart by his actions.

I take various drugs. I expect a lot of us do.
All drugs, medications etc will come with information regarding their possible side effects.
In my case one of the medicines prescribed eases a particular problem greatly while advancing (albeit slowly) something else of concern 🤷🏼

Medications are also individualistic in the way they affect folk.
Like this drug in the article.
It would be impossible to say everyone taking it would go out and do what this solicitor did. Simply because they wouldn’t.

It’s a sad tale yes. But here was an intelligent bloke doing things he normally wouldn’t be doing……….   Yet ignored that and simply continued. 🤷🏼

As far as I’m concerned he knew what he was doing but as it was enjoyable. Kept on with it. 🤷🏼

He owned an opticians shop, and used the money from that.  The other staff lost their jobs when it folded.

The ownership of the company is unclear? He was an appointed a Director (Secretary/Finance) and yes it caused considerable financial difficulty and job losses.

Despite the devastation his actions caused to the company and his family etc he has returned to punting. What is more he is openly still using his Giraffeman internet persona. No shame it would appear?

But that would deprive Parkinson's sufferers from an effective treatment. The side effect is well recognised and only affects a relatively small proportion of those using the medication.

Sadly he killed himself, as did his own son as a result of mental health issues aggravated by his father's actions
