Yet another thread complaining about the state of things in dundee

Seriously, I'm sick of having to travel over an hour to get a half decent pump and dump.

Dundee is averaging about 30 WGs on AW for the last few months. Of that, at least 10-15 are inactive accounts (based on no phone number/not logged on in ages). Of The ones that are left, only 4 are actually based in Dundee long term. The rest is made up of the revolving door of Brazilian/rom/Thai tourers. I get January is a slow month but my god it's depressing

Its always going to be a grass is always greener situation, im in Glasgow and feel pretty much the same, was looking at profiles in Manchester yesterday and they have way better pickings than here, could be worse though, you could be a punter living in Dunoon or the like

Dundee is a non starter for many reasons, let alone punting. Only ever been there once and that was enough!!

Very true on the last point.
It's just that it's one of the biggest cities in Scotland. Yet struggles to reach 10 permanent fixtures.

It's always been a mystery to me that Dundee is such a punting dessert.

As Scotland's fourth largest city, I would have thought there was potential for rich pickings for decent SP's? Not just in the city itself, but in the wider catchment areas, like Angus and northern Fife?

I visit a couple of times a year and I'm at the stage now where I barley even look for a potential punt, either FS or massage, as I know I'll be disappointed.

Angus is a wasteland as well. The only SP there that's regularly available is a BBer. Essentially everything north of Edinburgh until you hit Aberdeen is slim pickings.

Spot on Davey. The point I was trying to make was that I think Dundee as a city has a lot to offer and I don't understand why more touring girls don't come to the city?

For the record, I think all four of our major cities are great in their own way.  Obviously, Glasgow and Edinburgh are internationally known and therefore, tend to dominate, but Dundee and Aberdeen also have a lot to offer.

It seems to have a reputation among Touring girls for a lot of timewasters. And a thai lady there recently was telling me about an attempted robbery on a prior visit.

I also have heard girls complaining about the quality of punters in Dundee, in particular with reference to time wasters. Conversely, Aberdeen seems to be a popular and lucrative destination for tourers.

Was a popular and lucrative destination for tourers, but sadly doesn’t seem to be any more.  I’ve had multiple girls over recent years tell me it isn’t worth coming to Aberdeen now — lots of time wasters, and often a quiet phone.  I think Aberdeen coasted on its reputation and previously free-flowing cash for a long time but since Covid, it’s never been the same.  I think the sheen came off the Silver City and its rep crashed.

A couple of tourers who used to regularly come up don’t any more, and some who used to be common and frequent are much less frequent now.  A real shame — I always had fun External Link/Members Only, who used to come up every year like clockwork, but she’s not been back since 2023 or so, I’m still holding out hope!  (Somehow realised I haven’t ever reviewed her despite seeing her four or five times.)

This is undoubtedly a major factor. I've lost count of the girls I've met over the last 25+ years that have told me they'll never come back to Dundee because of the attitude of the punters. Never encountered that in Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen/Perth.

You've only got yourselves to blame Dundonians.

It's rough. I've been punting in Dundee for nearly 20 years (since I was 16!!) And I have gotten to a point where I just don't have the time or spare cash to float down to Edinburgh or Glasgow any time I like.

I hardly ever Tofts anymore, take a chance...because 90% of the time its ended ina bad experience in Dundee.

I've heard a few touring girls through the years comment on time wasting in Dundee. And it's been a long time since we had local, reliable girls working regularly.

Theres always the hope someone will suddenly appear on AW. If a decent local girl takes up the reigns they sure are going to be busy!!!
