Parking may not be over bad in that area depending on the time of day and day of the week, though street parking is shite regardless of the day
Wellington street multistorey is ok which is about a 5 min walk away and If the weather is ok and you dont mind a walk 12-15 mins you could park in the casino free car park which is a bit further up, make sure you have photo id though, park up and go into the casino, no need to register the car numberplate or anything, go into the casino where you will need to show your ID and then have a wander around in there for 5 mins, take a piss or something then walk out, the apartments by the tesco and greggs is about a 10-15 min walk away
