Blue Orchid Thai Massage. Bangor. New place that opened recently. No website but contact details do come up on Google and there is a FB page although limited pics & info.
Saw NP’s post about this place before Xmas, He does mention Blue Orchard but it’s the same place.
Decided yesterday to look further if this place had opened yet, googled it and info comes up instantly. Fired off a text message and confirmed that they were open. Was messaged back promptly every time. Asked how much and sent back £50 for 1 hour either Swedish or relaxing Thai massage with oils. Did ask if 4 hand was available but not yet as only 1 lady working there. Was going to ask if extras were available but decided against and go with the flow and take it as it comes. Made an appointment for today for 90 minutes for £75.
Right here’s the bit you guys are wanting to know ….. drum roll…. It is strictly legit. No chance of extras … more on that at the end.
I get inside and welcomed by a late 20s to mid 30s lady (hope I’m not doing her any injustice) not stunning but certainly not ugly. Paid the £75 and Shown to the room downstairs, 2 proper massage beds in the room done up neatly. Heating on and dimly light. Told to undress and she left the room. Kit off completely and hop on the table. She knocks and asks if I’m ready and then enters. First thing she does is put a sheet over me, from my toes to the top of my back. Then washed my calves and feet with a warm flannel. I’d pretty much guessed by this time that extras was not going to happen and that was confirmed when she kept moving the sheet around whatever part of the body that she wasn’t massaging at the time. She did come to the top of my head at one point to massage my back and I did decide to chance my luck by stroking her legs with my hands and she very politely made some noises as if to say don’t you dare you mucky so n so !!!
Over the course of the 90 minutes she literally massaged every inch of my body apart from the meat and two veg BUT what I will say is that it was the best massage I’ve ever had. She obviously knows her trade. Medium massage with warm odourless oil, at times it was quite firm and I winced in pain once, she picked up on this immediately and worked on some bad knots in my upper back. Even on the turnover she held the sheet up over her eyes so she couldn’t see my tackle and then placed it delicately on my front. Then Massaged my chest, belly, front legs and feet and even my hands and then my whole head. She was quite bubbly throughout but not overly chatty which suits me fine.
She did ask at the end if I visited other shops in the area to which I replied that I had and she asked how it compared to which I replied “different “ , she asked why and i pointed to little welshie behind the sheet and she laughed and said “oh, sorry but i don’t do that “ !!!
To conclude….. nothing on offer extras wise and I very much doubt that there will be if i return but i will definitely return as it was the best massage I’ve ever had and feel bloody amazing after it and on that basis it’s a positive from me.
Sorry to disappoint you on the extras chaps but be very interested in future reviews of this place to compare.
